In the article that follows you will find a rather extensive amount of information which all points to the conclusion that we are indeed living in the season of Christ's return. You will find this article contains a lot of numbers, dates, events and even how many items add up to point to other events and/or scripture and vice versa. You will also find (I hope) that the items I cover in this article seem to show a steady progression of events, starting with the rebirth of Israel in 1948, progressing through recent events, and many seeming to converge on the current to near future time period of 2014 through 2022.
I would like to address two questions that I'm sure the skeptics and maybe even a few "doubting Thomas" out there will have first.
My own conclusions based on the information contained in this article are simple ---
My own personal opinion is that it's as though God himself provided the key to unlock all of these things with the rebirth of Israel in 1948 and the scriptures describing that rebirth appearing in the 19th book and the 48th chapter (Psalm 48). The layout of the Bible pointed to the timing of Israel's rebirth all along; we just couldn't see it until after it happened. (For more on 1948, please see my article "1948: Fascinating")
The Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014-2015
For those who may not be familiar with this term tetrad, I offer the following basic definition: A tetrad is the occurence/appearance of four consecutive blood moons (tetrad meaning 4).
The blood moon tetrad of 2014-2015, which will begin on Passover this year, has become what some would call a "hot topic". Unfortunately I noticed that interest in the coming tetrad seemed to build to a peak over a little more than a year's time, and that this same interest seems to be diminishing almost as quickly. I believe this is because we have become a society of instant gratification or a "micro-wave society". We want instant results - thereby proof - or something we can see right away. The longer we wait the more our interest wanes; and before long we simply move on to the next "big thing" or theory. That is indeed unfortunate.
What many don't realize is that there is much more to the eclipses in 2014-2015 than just the blood moons. Please don't misunderstand; I too believe that the blood moon tetrad is a very important and significant event on the near prophetic horizon! However, the additional information I will provide here just makes it appear even more imprtant in my view. It's almost like God adding an exclamation point to this tetrad.
For starters there are a total of eight eclipses in the period 2014 through 2015 as follows:
Now I would like to bring your attention to a few interesting points about the list above ---
Now let's have a look at the history of blood moon tetrads. The concensus seems to be that there have been seven blood moon tetrads since the time of Christ; though I did find one site that claims 13. What's important to note though is that according to NASA of these tetrads there have only been three (3) that occured on Jewish High Holy days. Those three are as follows ---
Now consider this - As stated above, according to NASA's research of the past, there have only been three times in history (Prior to the tetrad starting this year) where back-to-back lunar eclipses have occcured on Jewish High Holy days. Those three times being shown above. As I hope you can see, each time this has happened something significant has also happened concerning the Jews/Israel on or about the same time. This is one reason I believe something major is most likely to happen soon and that it will be related to Israel.
When considering the importance of the coming eclipses and blood moon tetrads I would recommend a look at the following verses of scripture:
The Years 2014-2015
As I shared above, a blood moon tetrad will occur during 2014-2015; but that's not all. There are additional items I'd like to share with you about these years.
The Jewish year (on the Hebrew calendar) that begins in 2014 is also the beginning of a seven year period that contains 84 months. these seven year cycles (containing 84 months) occur - on average - about every three years. The last one began in 2011, the current cycle will begin this year (2014), and the next one will begin in 2017.The reason for this is that the Hebrew calendar is based on a lunar cycle where as the Gregorian calendar is based on a solar cycle. this results in some years on the Hebrew calendar having an additional month. Now let's have a look at how this may relate to scripture.
As you can see, the first half and the second half of the tribulation period are both shown to us as being a period of 42 months each. Adding the two halves together (42+42) would give us a total period of 84 months. I find this interesting in that it matches the number of months in the seven (7) year cycle that re-occurs on the Hebrew calendar.
The year 2014 will also be 66 years since the rebirth of Israel and interestingly enough, the Bible contains 66 books (Revelation being number 66). It's further interesting that the solar and lunar eclipses (including the blood moon tetrad) that I listed earlier (above) begin in the 66th year since Israel's rebirth and the fact that the scriptures shown above (Joel 2:3, Acts 2:20, and Revelation 6:12) seem to describe eclipses of the sun and moon. With these things in mind, I would recommend taking the following items into consideration ---
Now let's move on to the year 2015 ---
The year 2015, among other things will be 67 years since the rebirth of Israel. While this may not seem to be important when taken at face value, I believe you will see that this could very well be important in the overall picture.
In God's infinite wisdom, knowing the end from the beginning -
Now let me walk you through the scriptures, dates, and numbers that appear to lead down a path pointing to 2015.
For those who would say this is just a big play with numbers, allow me to give you something else to consider.
First of all and most importantly the things I am pointing out here are Biblically sound and would not have been posible for me or anyone else to see and/or interpret this way until the current era in my opinion, as I will explain.
As far as being Biblically sound one only has to look to the book of Daniel -
As I hope you can see, these and many things were not meant to be understood until the time of the end. Please allow me to paraphrase - at the time of the end society will become fast paced (run to and fro), knowledge will increase, and only the wise (those of His children who are watching and studying these things) will understand.
Now, as for these things not being recognized prior to the current era, I offer the following explanation. -
Going back to Biblical times actual year numbers were not important as they are to us today. Instead, the time something happened was recorded using an event or someone's reign as a reference point. In other words you might see a reference to something happening in the 4th year of King David's reign. Also, if the year 1948 had been written down (back then) it would have been written something like this - one thousand, nine hundred, two score and eight. Adding these nubers up (1,000+900+40+8) would simply give you the total of 1,948.
As time and society progressed we eventually began having more need to keep track of exact dates and so the writing and recording of dates and years began. However, even as recent as the seventeen and eighteen hundreds, the writing of dates was more lengthy than what we use today. It basically went to: the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, followed by - the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and forty-eight. Then we finally reached the point of reading and writing dates the way we do today (ie...1948 = Nineteen Forty-Eight). We also reached the point of writing dates numerically (ie...6/7/67) to make it even quicker and easier.
As I hope you can see, it is only through thousands of years of progression, increased knowledge, and the speeding up of society (always looking for a faster, shorter way of doing things) that we are now able to see and/or recognize many of the items I am writing about here.
I must say again here that the key to unlocking all of these things was the rebirth of Israel in 1948 and recognizing the fact that this was pointed to all along by the layout of the Bible. There can be no doubt that we serve an AWESOME GOD !!!
The Year 2018
There are three things that make this year (2018) one to keep in mind and think about.
The Number 22, The Bible, and Israel
I know that this number does not appear in scripture in what we would consider a significant way; however I have noticed that this number has "popped up" on several occasions in my studies of end times prophecy. The following is a short list of items that I have found related to the number 22 -
I feel the need here to emphasize the fact that beginning with the lay out of the Bible, then advancing step by step, God laid everything out and the the order of it long ago. It has been there all along; we just didn't or couldn't see it until the current time period. Again this brings to mind the verses shown above - Daniel 12:4, Daniel 12:10, and Mark 13:23.
There are some prophecy scholars/ministers that believe that the chapter numbers in Psalm and their content relate directly to year numbers and events respectively. The fact that the rebirth of Israel occured in 1948 and was described in Psalm 48 is a prime example. With these things in mind, I decided to look at the Psalm that might correspond with the year 2014. Since 2014 is 66 years from 1948 I simply added 66 to 48 which brought me to Psalm 114. What I found may seem limited; but I felt it was important enough to include here. The two verses in Psalm 114 that stood out to me were verses four and six -
I noticed these verses talk about mountains and hills skipping or moving out of their places. This should sound familiar to anyone who studies prophecy; because a similar verse appears in the book of Revelation.
I found the similarity between this verse in Revelation and verses 4 and 6 in Psalm 114 interesting enough to decide to have a closer look at all aspects surrounding these chapters and verses. What I found is oddly interesting. That is the best way I can think of to describe it. That said, I will now try to describe what I found. The following is a sort of comparison list; after which I'll try to clarify what I think it shows.
So what we have here is (Revelation 6:14)- the 66th book, the 6th chapter, verse 14 = 666 14.
In Psalm 114 we have the 66th chapter from 48, the chapter digits equal 6, the chapter digits plus total verses add up to 14 = 666 14.
There is one more way of looking at the verse in Revelation that I would like to bring to your attention - the verse that corresponds with Psalm 114 is in chapter 6, contained in the 6 verses that describe the opening of the 6th seal and is verse 14. Again we have - 666 14. Coincidence?
I know some might say that taking the number of verses used to describe the breaking of the sixth seal is really stretching it and to them I offer the following observations I made in studying this -
I didn't just look at the verses used to describe the opening of the 6th seal. I also looked at the number of verses used to describe the opening of all 7 seals in order to see if there was anything to make this one stand out. Here are my findings -
1st seal - 2 verses used
2nd seal - 2 verses used
3rd seal - 2 verses used
4th seal - 2 verse used
5th seal - 3 verses used
6th seal - 6 verses used
7th seal - 1 verse used
As you can see, there are 2 to 6 times the number of verses used to describe the opening of the 6th seal compared to the rest of the seals. This, to me, seems to set the 6th seal apart as an exception or to be noticed.
The final item I noticed on this subject was the total number of verses used to describe the opening of the seven seals. The total is 18 verses.
As most prophecy scholars agree, the seven seals will be broken early on in the tribulation period or at least during the first half. With that in mind I found it interesting that 18 verses were used to describe the opening of the seven seals and the fact that the mid-way point of the coming seven year cycle containing 84 months is 2018. Perhaps not important; but I felt I should include it.
A Perfect Match
While studying and writing about all of these items, dates, and scriptures I realized something that was rather odd and fascinating. All of the items contained here seem to point to or converge on the time period between 2014-2022. That would be the part that is a little odd. The fascinating part is what follows here.
Let's start with a comparison of the Feast of Tabernacles with the tribulation period (7 years) and the millennial reign of Christ.
As is well known, the Feast of Tabernacles begins on the 15th of Tishri (the Hebrew month) and ends on the 22nd of Tishri. We must remember though that the 15th of Tishri actually begins at 6:00 P.M. the night before - the 14th. I must also bring to your attention that the Feast of Tabernacles is a feast for seven days and that the last day - the eighth day is a sabbath and a day of holy convocation.
As you can see the Bible plainly says that Tabernacles is actually celebrated as a "feast" for the first seven days with the eighth day being a part of Tabernacles but set apart as a special day in itself; the Lord's day (a sabbath and a day of holy convocation).
Before I move on to the way this (Tabernacles) compares with the tribulation and the millennial reign of Christ; I must first show you how the counting of a date from 6:00 P.M. the day before is an exact and perfect match with the counting of years on the Hebrew calendar.
Six P.M. on a 24 hr clock would be 1800 hrs, or in other words the 18th hour of the day. If you divide 24 hours in a day by 4 (24~4) you have a result of 6. So the 18th hour (1800) would be 3/4 of the way through the day (3x6=18).
Now, the Hebrew year typically (but not always) begins in the month of September (the 9th month). Going by the Gregorian calendar of 12 months, if you divide 12 by 4 you have a result of 3. So September (the 9th month) would be 3/4 of the way through the year (3x3=9).
So to put it simply, we have Jewish dates (on the Hebrew calendar) beginning at 3/4 of the way through the previous day (6:00 P.M.) and we have a Jewish/Hebrew year beginning 3/4 of the way through the previous year (the 9th month) on the Gregorian calendar.I would have to consider this a perfect match. Now let's look at the tribulation and the millennial reign time period.
First I must bring to your attention the fact that days can be counted as 24 hour periods (of course); but a day can also represent a year or one thousand years in prophecy and God's timing.
By the timing of the events which have already been fulfilled in the prophecy of Daniel's 70 weeks we can know that the 70 weeks actually represents weeks of years. In other words one day equals a year. We are also told in scripture that with God "one day is as a thousand years".
With these two measurements of a day (1 day=1 year and 1 day=one thousand years) in mind, let's look at the seven year tribulation period and the millennial reign of Christ.
As I showed earlier, the first seven days of Tabernacles are for feasting which would correspond to the seven year tribulation period. Keep in mind that the tribulation period is Daniel's 70th week and is counted as a week of years (7 days = 7 years). Next we have the 8th day of Tabernacles which is a day of holy convocation and following the tribulation we have the millennial reign of Christ which is as a day in God's eyes (1 day = a thousand years). It is only fitting that this day be counted as one of God's days (a thousand years) since it will be when God's son Jesus Christ begins His rule on earth.
For those who may be wondering how seven years of the worst time on earth (the tribulation) could correspond to seven days of feasting/celebration I offer a one word answer - rapture. You see, those who are counted "worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass" are raptured just before the tribulation and will spend the next seven years (tribulation period) feasting/celebrating in heaven at the marriage supper of the Lamb.
Now for the final comparison I present the Feast of Tabernacles and the coming time period from 2014 through 2022.
First let's look at Tabernacles - The dates on the Hebrew calendar are the 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, and 22nd of Tishri.I know Tabernacles is usually referred to as falling on the 15th through the 22nd; but as I explained earlier, it actually begins at 6:00 P.M. the day before (the 14th). Now let's look at the coming time period - (please note the year ending numbers) 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. As you can see the year ending numbers are a perfect match to the date numbers for Tabernacles on the Hebrew calendar.
To further prove this is a perfect match, please consider these two facts -
I hope now you can understand why I said I found these itms both odd and fascinating.
Before I move on to my next topic I'd like to address an issue I feel certain will arise. Either during or after reading this article there will be some who will think that all of these things could have been intentionally done or lined up this way since the Bible was written by man. To those individuals I offer a couple of facts that prove man could not have done this on their own.
Strong's Concordance Numbers
For those who are not familiar with the Strong's Concordance, allow me to give you a brief (and perhaps over-simplified) description -
The Strong's concordance contains a list of every word that is contained in the Bible and the location of where that word appears each time. It also contains a list of the Greek and Hebrew words that appeared in their original texts from which the English Bible was translated. The Greek and Hebrew words are accompanied by a description and definition. Each Greek and Hebrew word is also assigned an alpha-numeric identifier. Simply put - each word is assigned a number. Then if it is a Greek word then the number is preceded by a G. If it is a Hebrew word then the number is preceded by an H. So a word with an identifier of G3016 would be the Greek word number 3016 and a word with an identifier of H3016 would be the Hebrew word number 3016.
There is much more to the Strong's Concordance than this; but it would take a seperate article to go into more detail.
A single Greek and/or Hebrew word can often be translated to multiple words in English. That is why it is often beneficial to go back to the original (Greek or Hebrew) words in a scripture to gain a better or more complete understanding of that scripture. Now let's have a look at some Strong's numbers that correspond with the years ahead.
While reading the above scriptures may not give you a direct sense that they are referring to the end of days (the rapture, tribulation, second coming) it is interesting that the word G2014 is used once for light (Jesus Christ is the light of the world, of which there is only one) and it is used three times as appeared (the number 3 is defined as divine wholeness or completeness). It is further interesting that it appears four times for the following reasons.
I also noticed that if you take the verse numbers above where the word G2014 appears (verses: 79, 20, 11, 4) and add them together (79+20+11+4) you will have a total of 114. This number, 114, is an obvious match to Psalm 114 that I discussed above.
As you can see, all of these verses in which the word G2015 appear are verses pertaining to the rapture. Quite interesting don't you think?
This scripture abviously refers to two things - the start of the tribulation and possibly the eclipses of the sun and moon. The reason I say possibly is because we can never rule out the possibility of these things (sun into darkness and moon into blood) being supernaturally accomplished by God at a time of His choosing. This is just another reason we cannot say that the rapture will take place or that the tribulation will begin between 2014-2015, as I have seen some doing. To do so is absolutely wrong!! I personally believe that we are being pointed to this time period because a major event is going to happen soon that will launch events that will lead to the fulfillment of the remaining end of days prophecys. The exact timing always has been and always will be in God's hands. He is simply letting His children know that the time is at hand and He is even at the door.
I don't believe there chould be any doubt that this verse is referring to the rapture. For more on the rapture please see I Corinthians 15:52 and I Thessalonians 4:13-17.
I would like to take a minute here to bring your attention to a couple of details concerning these four Strong's words (G2014, G2015, G2016, G2017). First is that the word G2014 and the verses in which it appears seem to stand alone in that they seem to only point to the end of days indirectly; but when you put G2014 together with the other three words (G2015, G2016, G2017) it draws a pretty awesome picture. I say that because if you take a closer look at the information above about these words you will find that G2015, G2016, and G2017 all point back to G2014 as follows.
Food For Thought
I decided to insert this section here to try and help everyone reading this article understand my reasoning and position on the adding of numbers and dates (etc.). To start , just think about simple math - we use addition to check our subtraction and vice versa, and we use multiplication to check our division and vice versa. So why should we or would we be so narrow minded as to think that our God could not or would not place items in scripture hidden, as the say, in plain sight that would give us a way to check certain items, in some cases lead us on a path to discover new things, or show us how some items are linked together. After all, is He not the master mathmetician?
In my opinion, He hid these things in plain sight knowing that they would not be seen or recognized until the time of the end when knowledge would increase and the rebirth of Israel would occur. Even then only the wise would understand. I believe scripture means the spiritually wise such as the believers (His children). I would also say especially the watchers who are looking and longing for His return, studying His word and watching for the signs that Jesus Himself told us would come.
As you may have noticed, not all items such as dates or scripture numbers (etc.) add up to point to something else. My view on this is that some items, which are important in themselves, are also used to point or guide us to other associated events, the timing of events or how some items should be linked together. Other items, no matter how you look at them or add them up do not point to anything else simply because the importance that we are to see and learn is in the scripture content itself. It's like God saying - this or these items are important as "stand alone" items where as with others He goes beyond their initial importance and uses them to help us get a more complete overall picture. It's called "divine design".
To those who still think that all of this is just a big play with numbers I would remind you that math has been used for a very long time to understand the full meaning of items in scripture. This is especially true concerning the time of the end and prophecy. As examples of that I offer you two items to consider.
I would now ask one simple question - With the two examples above in mind are you willing to just discard the items I've written about here as "just a play with numbers"? I can't speak for anyone else, but as for me - It is the sheer quantity of items all pointing in the same direction that makes it impossible for me not to believe that we are being warned that the time is at hand. It isn't about exact dates, predicting dates or events. It's about us being warned that it is time to prepare for Christ's return. Remember - God does not pour out His wrath without warning; just as He warned Noah and his family, and He warned Lot and his family. Are you ready?
